Read the following:
1. G.O.Rt.No.2276, G.A (Poll.B) Dept., Dated:04.12.2025.
2. From the Chairman, AP JAC AMARAAVATHI (Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee of Government Employees service Associations), Lr.dated.11.02.2026 received on 13.02.2026.
ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above, Government have issued orders notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays for the year 2026.
2. In the circumstances reported by the Chairman, AP JAC AMARAAVATHI, in the reference 2nd read above, Government, after careful examination of the matter, have decided to declare the Optional Holiday on 16.02.2026 (Monday) i.e., following Day of Mahashivaratri.
3. Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the extra ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh, dated: 14.02.2026.
NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.2276, General Administration (Political.B) Department, dated: 04.12.2025, Government hereby declare Optional Holiday on 16.02.2026 (Monday) i.e., following day of Mahashivaratri.
