NMMSS Examination 2026

It is hereby notified that the state wide National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII students will be conducted on 15-11-2026 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM in Telugu/English/Urdu medium at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of all the 28 districts in the State.

The online applications are invited for the said examination through the link provided in the office website www.bse.ap.gov.in.

The due dates may also be downloaded from the website www.bse.ap.gov.in. The applications will be received through online procedure only.

I) ELIGIBILITY

(i) A candidate who scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC/BC and 50% of marks in case of SC/ST or equivalent grade i.e., B+, B+ for all categories in Class VII Examination studied during the year 2025-26.

(ii) A candidate who is studying in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government Aided, AP Model (day scholars only) and MPUP (Running 8th class) schools only.

(iii) Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.3,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original/attested Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO.

(iv) Candidate has to submit the original/attested caste certificate and also Income certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster. In case of SC, certificate with Group 1 / SC Group 2 / SC Group 3 should be submitted.

(v) Examination fee is Rs.100/- for OC and BC students and Rs.50/- for SC and ST students. The examination fee has to be paid through SBI Collect only (follow user guide available in website www.bse.ap.gov.in). Demand Drafts will not be accepted.

Course of study for Class VII (Academic Year 2025-26) and Class VIII (Academic Year 2026-27), upto October.

Information can be obtained from the concerned School Head Master/ District Educational Officer.

The student should apply online in the website www.bse.ap.gov.in. The headmasters should go through the guidelines given in the website www.bse.ap.gov.in before filling the application form.
