Background

As per the report received from UIDAI through the UDISE Portal, approximately 16.51 lakh students in Andhra Pradesh require Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) in their Aadhaar records.

To address this pendency, the Government has decided to conduct special Aadhaar camps across the state.

Instructions

District Collectors are requested to issue necessary instructions to the following officials:

• District Supply Officers (DSOs)
• Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs)
• Municipal / Urban Secretariats Officers (MSOs / USOs)
• Regional Inspecting Officers (RIOs)
• District Education Officers (DEOs)

These officers should ensure smooth conduct of Aadhaar biometric update camps and facilitate participation of students who require updates.

Purpose

• Complete Aadhaar biometric updates for school students
• Reduce pendency shown in the UDISE portal
• Ensure accurate student Aadhaar data
