In the reference 1^st cited, orders have been issued duly mentioning the time line for Rollout of the enhanced e-SR application, Data entry of Physical Service Register details, Verification and mandatory recording of all future (live) service events through the respective e-SR modules/screens.

In the reference 2^nd cited, in the meeting held by the Government on 14-08-2026, the representatives of the all the Service Associations have requested the Government to extend the time for completion/updating of Employee Service Records (ESR) by one month.

After careful examination of the matter, Government is hereby decided to extend the date for mandatory recording of all future (live) service events through the respective e-SR modules/screens to 01-10-2026. Further, all employees and departments are hereby instructed to complete related processes in e-SRs on or before 30-09-2026.
